We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business/Product Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the build team.
  • Build use cases, write and manage user stories, visualization, and process flows.
  • Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and drive/improve user experience.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business processes and ensure that the squad’s backlog priorities align with business needs.
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress.
  • Stay 2-3 sprints ahead of the squad, ensuring each feature has a clear definition of done.
  • Ensure each feature-level deliverable is aligned with a definition of readiness to enter the sprint.
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers; assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and script development.
  • Support maintenance process improvements, including estimation, prioritization, and Agile methodology adoption.
  • Help manage dependencies with other squads, working closely with the Product Owner (PO), peer Product Analysts (PAs), and the Product Manager.
  • Stay up to date with other ongoing projects in the squad and ensure that maintenance items align with related initiatives.
  • Document confirmed business processes as a reference for development and IT support.
  • Apply business process improvement methods for optimization.
  • Support and/or facilitate system demos via inspect and adapt workshops as needed.

Salesforce Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce configuration with an understanding of configuration limits.
  • Ability to design high-level conceptual solutions and estimate effort with minimal business requirements.
  • Manage expectations with business partners based on the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce code and configuration.
  • Develop systems and tools to enhance customer interactions and collaboration.

Domain Expertise & Qualifications

General Domain Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of standard business practices, technology, and industry principles.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into a product vision.
  • Deep understanding of business processes and high-quality digital product delivery.
  • Experience managing a product backlog/release plan, tracking team metrics, and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Salesforce Certification:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, Salesforce CRM, and project management.
