We are hiring Database Developer Senior ππ
In this role, you will be expected to work autonomously and contribute to several high impact projects. You will get involved in the team in charge of architecting and building the database infrastructure to support data needs and optimizing all application touchpoints with the database systems.
Must have
β’ 5+ years of practical experience building and supporting Postgres and Microsoft/azure SQL databases.
β’ Extensive experience with query tuning and troubleshooting including indexing, ensuring proper join techniques, etc.
β’ Excellent SQL programming: writing, maintaining, and testing codes using βoutside the boxβ approach.
β’ Ability to understand complicated problems and craft simple solutions that can be maintained by the rest of the team.
β’ Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub including actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits.
β’ Provide technical leadership on database systems and solutions. Provide individual mentoring and training on databases and tools. Recommend, test, and evaluate new technologies, software tools, and required skill sets; recommend and implement improvements.
β’ Ability to train and mentor applications developers on best database practices.
β’ Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
β’ Strong sense of responsibility with a bias towards action.
β’ Comfortable self-directing and prioritizing your own work.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
